Chuong reported earlier some real-life images of the
AT&T version of the HTC Touch Pro. If you look closely, you'll notice there is no longer a dedicated row of number keys, however there are now dedicated Start menu and OK keys. This is great news for anyone who wants to use a keyboard to navigate the operating system without having to re-arrange your fingers to touch the screen every time you need to switch applications. Hopefully, HTC will add these buttons back to their own branded version of the Touch Pro as well.

It looks like
The Boy Genius Report had posted a video of a device running, what seemingly looks to be, Android, the Google-developed open-source mobile operating system. It has been known that HTC will be one of the manufacturers to release hardware for the platform, with one of the first models known as the HTC Dream. The video possibly depicts the HTC Dream in action.
Although Adroid's impact can yet to be measured at this time, it will have some
significant impacts to Windows Mobile, in particular because of its open-source nature. Because the platform is open-source, developers like HTC and carriers with their own branded devices like AT&T could release cheaper devices to consumers as there will be no licensing fee. A preview of the user interface could be seen by
clicking on.

Just because you don't have a Touch Diamond doesn't mean that you can't make your touchscreen WinMo device have a similar interface. The above video is a quick demonstration of a Touch Diamond skin for Spb Mobile Shell, which utilizes several elements of TouchFLO 3D on the Diamond like the bottom icons, clock, and icon backgrounds.
To do this, you'll need to
download Spb Mobile Shell (which has a free trial and then costs $29.95 - pricey, I know, but highly recommended if you want the best interface replacement for Windows Mobile), plus the
HTC Touch Diamond Theme CAB from the
Samsung-Resource blog.
First, install Spb Mobile Shell. Then, transfer the CAB for the theme into My Documents. Run the CAB, reset your device, and it'll work.

Johan has translated the copyright notices on the HTC Touch Flo 3D About page into product names, and also added brief descriptions to the products taken from their home pages.
