In part 1 of our video review, I focus on the iPAQ 210's hardware.

The device is very well equipped, probably one of the most, if not the most powerful Windows Mobile device available. Enough memory to forget about the task manager and enough storage options and battery power to forget about your MP3 player or your laptop's hard drive. Lots of workspace in the dazzling 4 inch screen and all this fitted into a very elegant design that does a great job in turning heads around you.

Probably the one things I'd object as my personal opinion is that this device is retailed as an Enterprise Handheld. Even though WM itself is focused on enterprise and I think most devices available are targeted for it, it's interesting that the normal tendency of other enterprise devices like a Laptop, as opposed to a consumer one, is that it's thinner, lighter and in some cases, more powerful. We have tons of power in the iPAQ 210, and I must say I do appreciate the extra workspace the screen gives me, but did it have to be this thick?

You know, it probably isn't as thick ...

In the latest issue of Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine (April/May 2008) I review the new HP iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld. When I was writing the review the screen specs were published as being 18-bit 260k colors. After the article went to the printers HP updated their specs (which can be found here). The updated specs are 16-bit 65k colors. I know there are some people out there who are very upset by this. Personally my poor old eyes probably couldn't tell the difference. The VGA screen look

How long have I waited, like lots of you, to get hold on the iPAQ 614c? Will it live up the expectations that I have for an all round Sat Nav, phone, PDA? Well today it arrived thanks to Clove Technology who have kindly provided the review unit. Introduction Firstly I would like to apologise if the review shows a slight bias, as I am looking to buy one of these units, and therefore may, inadvertently, look at it in a slightly different light. I will try and take off those rose tinted glasses,

HP continues to bet on the need for powerful, yet classic, Windows Mobile devices with their iPAQ 200 series. If you've been a Windows Mobile customer for as long as I have, you'll remember there is always one device that stands out as the total, no holds bar, power house for those who demand top quality performance in every aspect and where the price is the least to worry about. Interestingly though, HP jumps to compete with their powerful iPAQ 210 handheld, at a price you'd typically pay for mid end Pro or Standard device. So then the dilemma begins when you think about carrying a Classic device and a dumb phone, or a high end Smartphone for the price of both.

Will HP give you enough of a motive to switch back to a Classic? More videos to come!

If you want a clue about my first impression, I'll tell you this much: It's BIG!

The HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx2790 is the perfect handheld computer for the professional who values the combination of the traditional, the familiar, and the versatile in their technological innovations.  The HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx2790 stays true as the classic PDA, but with a different twist. It is designed to offer more than what we have been accustomed to using in this new century, where pets can actually run on batteries and the web is more than a thing we remove from the corners of our ceiling. It

A year ago HP delivered the Pavilion tx1000 Entertainment PC, a hybrid between a notebook and a Tablet PC. It was a great machine, and we here at HardwareGeeks.com awarded it our Editors Choice Award for the month of April 2007 and also our Top choice Award for the year of 2007. The tx1000 was and still is a fantastic piece of machinery. 9 out of 10 reviews on the web praised it. However, at the same time each review noted some dislikes about the machine such as a lack of an active stylus and a

Last week my new iPAQ 210 was delivered and I am trilled with it. One of my first goals was to find a nice soft case for it. After some web searching, I found Piel Frama was going to have a leather case available soon. Here’s where my story gets interesting. When I visited the company’s website I found they just had just opened their US office in Miami. I’ve been traveling to Miami on business the last 7 weeks and this is my last weekend before I change my job assignment to locations in the Nort
